City Council
The South Bend City Council is the legislative branch of city government that represents city residents in establishing policy direction to the administrative branch of city government. Through its public forum, advisory councils, commissions and various technologies, the South Bend City Council identifies priorities of the community. Through its legislative authority, the South Bend City Council gives directions in addressing those identified priorities.
