City Financials

The City Budget is one of the most important documents the City produces. It outlines the City’s spending plan and priorities for the coming fiscal year. Each year, the city’s budget is developed in conjunction with the Mayor, City Clerk/Treasurer and all city departments. The budget is then reviewed and approved by the City Council. The result is a budget that closely matches the community’s highest priorities each fiscal year.

The Annual Report document serves as a statement of fulfillment of the City Council’s goals, highlighting many of the achievements and successes of the previous year. This report reflects the City of South Bend’s commitment to providing superior services to our constituents; residents, businesses, workers and visitors.
